Without Lead Apron Xray What Is The Harm In Getting An X Ray Without A Lead Apron?

What is the harm in getting an X ray without a lead apron? - without lead apron xray

I used to have an x-ray of my knee, then I left, I realized for the first time I was not yet a lead apron. Is this dangerous?

Lead aprons are used to the ovaries or testes, are particularly sensitive to radiation protection. However, only a low risk, and if the radiographs must be taken without the protection (eg, radiographs of the pelvis) is not catastrophic. where an x-ray of the chest or knee is affected, the radiologist take the picture matches the beam to limit the spread area of interest and no risk.
